Kryptonite was founded by the duo of Gizelle Williams and Naeem Seedat - transformative C-suite executives with diverse skillsets and extensive multi-national experience, whose paths merged after they each spent more than 20 years in corporate life.
Kryptonite was born out of their passion for people & innovation
My first love is people and I'm driven to make a real difference in the lives of others. I have a track record in transforming organizations from the inside out through effective change initiatives and working to develop the kind of leadership needed to sustain good change.
I have a diverse skillset that enables me to help clients develop future-fit organizations – this includes leadership development, talent management, learning and development, organizational development, wellbeing and talent management to name a few.
As an Organizational Psychologist, I am passionate about driving meaningful business change and leadership acceleration. I’m presently completing a PHD study around the subject of ‘Leadership in the Digital Age.
I am an agent of digital transformation and have spent much of the last few years helping clients to use and respond to technological change.
I thrive on helping clients to reset thinking, reformat humans and reboot their organizations for the digital era. My love for technology is complemented by a personal passion for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.
I've travelled extensively and have had multi-country work experiences, spending a significant amount of time working across Africa and the Middle East in particular.
My experience is broad and spans many industries and disciplines, giving me the unique perspective needed to connect the dots and operate across increasingly blurring industry lines.
In 2020, I co-founded Kryptonite, to leave no human behind as the world shifts into the digital era.
We always get questions from curious clients asking about our name and why we chose Kryptonite.
Kryptonite (Classic definition)
Our founders considered the word when searching for a term to describe the detrimental, short-term effects that Industrial Revolutions and technology-led change have on people.
When faced with rapid, disruptive change, people often freeze and are unable to adapt to and function in the new world - to us, this disruptive, technology-led change seemed like Kryptonite to human beings who encountered it, seriously weakening them and ultimately depriving them of their superpowers.
And hence was born our new definition of the word, which served as inspiration for our purpose - to humanize digital transformations, enabling businesses to shift these disruptive digitally-powered forces of the 4th and 5th Industrial Revolutions from being kryptonite to their workforces to being a catalyst that unleashes their people’s superpowers.
